The dates for the Russian International Automobility SHOW are announced. The car show will be held from 12 to 15 December 2024 at the IEC «Expocentre». The organizer of the Russian International Automobility SHOW is ITEMF Expo, who are also the organizer of the exhibitions MIMS Automobility Moscow, Comtrans, Urbantrans and IMAF forum. RIAS will be held with the support of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association (ROAD).

ITEMF Expo presented new cars models as part of MIMS Automobility Moscow 2023 exhibition. This section was presented under the name MIMS Automobility SHOW. Within MIMS Automobility SHOW car dealers and manufacturers showed new car models available on the Russian market. The successful start of the project was guaranteed by the platform of the MIMS Automobility Moscow exhibition — the only specialized business event in Russia, uniting all areas of the Russian automotive market.

Thanks to its launch at MIMS Automobility Moscow exhibition, the project attracted the interest of the professional business community at the very start. Continuing the car show as a separate event will allow participants to attract more attention both from the B2B automotive community and from the end consumers.

From 2024, the event will be held under the name RIAS — Russian International Automobility SHOW. The first edition of RIAS will take place from 12 to 15 December 2024.

In comparison with the shortage of cars in 2022 and partially in 2023, a wide selection of new brands and models is available on the Russian market today and a professional exhibition platform for its presenting is highly demanded. The end consumer is interested in studying new market products, comparing models and brands in one place and at the same time. For car manufacturers and dealers, participation in the car show will allow them to gain more attention from buyers and occupy a larger market share.

On November 29, 2023 ITEMF Expo and China National Machinery Industry International Co. Ltd. (Sinomachint) signed a memorandum of cooperation. Sinomachint is a Chinese state-owned conglomerate specializing in the production of road construction and agricultural machinery, commercial and passenger vehicles, machine tools and various industrial equipment. Thanks to this international cooperation, all major players in the Chinese automotive market will participate in the project.

Together with RIAS exhibition of buses and urban mobility UrbanTrans and the international exhibition of commercial vehicles COMTRANS International will be held at the IEC «Expocentre». All 3 events holding at one place will allow visitors to get acquainted with the latest automotive industry products in both the passenger and commercial segments and will become the main event of the auto retail market in 2024.

Together with industry partners the organizer will present a business program dedicated to the car sales market. Sessions and round tables will become a communication platform for the professional community to unite efforts in moving the automotive market forward. The business program is designed to strengthen networking within the event and unite the professional community for the development of the industry.
